I'm now the most happy person on earth, not for any extravagant reason but just being alive, healthy and on a positive road. I'm sure I'll live the toothless years...a grandy of swag, that's at least what I'll think.
I just celebrated my twenty-one birthday in the best way ever, check out the article later.
And I can truly say, its been a journey. A journey of good, bad and worse things. The little years i have been around I can truly say, I can advice a bit. So this are just of the things I have learnt over the years about life. Some are as follows;
1. Trust no one, Just God
I love that even the Bible acknowledges this "cursed is he that trusts in another man".
Man is to error at least that's what it says. Meaning they are bound to make mistakes and this mistakes can haunt us for the rest of our lives. Men disappoint and that's just how it is.
Love then but don't put your 100% trust, there is only one that doesn't disappoint and its not man, its The Most High.
2.Love yourself
The Bible says 'love your neighbors as you love yourself'. I'm not a theologian nor an English professor but at least I understand the verse a little bit. I tend to believe the writer found it necessary to say this as an instruction not only towards those around us but for us ourselves. For how can you give that which you do not have.
Its important that us as young adults, know how to value ourselves for we are of the royal priesthood. Co- heirs with Christ Jesus. God intends for us to extend the love that he showed us. Let's spread love beginning with self.
3.My place is not in the kitchen and bedroom.
Just recently news were flying up and about of the so called prezo who publicly said, the wife is only good in the kitchen and bedroom. That was absurd and it made me sweat in anger. That at this time and era so many guys are still believing we are only good for two things. Ladies should be all they want and desire to be without some barbaric customs.
I'm made for greatness, to achieve my purpose and to solve one of the society ills. People should get out of those bad traditions.
4.Leaders are readers.
This is one of the most common sayings and the whole globe agrees. "Africans were in the past known to love illiteracy but not any more". People are now enjoying this culture. A culture I can only thank my pastor for literally forcing it in me. Now I enjoy every bit of reading, though still working on cultivating this habit but its worthwhile. Let's embrace this culture.
I can only talk about this wholesomely on a whole new article so watch out.
5.Dont be rational.
I'm on my guilty trip now. Because I fail this test one too many times. Many a times I used to blame it on my temperament but now it seems not to be working, so now I'm learning on thinking before acting and this is one if those crazy tests I wouldn't want supplementary. 'The wisdom of the prudent is to discern his way, but the folly I'd deceiving"
5.Anger kills.
I am still in pursuit to find what holy anger is.
All human beings are emotional beings but its important that we control our anger. I can confess it doesn't bring any good. Anger only shows how foolish you are, as it clearly says in the Holy Book that
"Whoever is slow to anger had great understanding but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly". That's a harsh truth. Let's all work on our anger issues. There are many more but this are just but some.
Let's all have an amazing weekend ahead.
Cheers yoh

Well said and best put in place in that all may put God First and above all with the share of Love among all of us we may create opportunities not for thyself but a path so many may follow thinking through and carefully considering every actions and decisions made has an effect and by so we be humble in our approach!
